Tamil film industry mourns Sridevi's death, attends prayer meet in Chennai

Who's who of the Tamil film industry turned up at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Adyar, Chennai on Sunday (11 March) to pay homage to one of its most loved stars, Sridevi.

Several top actors, producers, directors and members from the Tamil film industry arrived at the prayer meeting held in the memory of the late actress who passed away on 24 February due to accidental drowning in Dubai.

The prayer meeting began with bhajans at around 6pm. Afer the bhajans, the guests offered their condolences to Sridevi's family members — husband Boney Kapoor, daughters Khushi and Jahnvi.
