Esha Gupta honoured to work in Iranian film Devil's Daughter


The actress is working with Iranian director Ghorban Mohammadpour, who has helmed films likes Salaam Mumbai (2016) and Anche Mardan Darbareye Zanan Nemidanand (2014).

Actress Esha Gupta says working on her maiden Iranian project Devil's Daughter has been a surreal experience.

Gupta has been shooting in Mumbai since a month. She will be shooting for the project in April and most of the scenes will be shot in Madh Island.

She is happy to work with Ghorban Mohammadpour, who has helmed films likes Salaam Mumbai (2016) and Anche Mardan Darbareye Zanan Nemidanand (2014).

"I'm honoured to have the opportunity to collaborate with a director like Ghorban Mohammadpour for his film Devil's Daughter," Gupta said in a statement.

"I've admired his films and now I get to work with him. This is surreal. It's such privilege to be part of the Iranian film industry," she added.

The actress has worked in Hindi films like Jannat 2 (2002), Rustom (2016) and Commando 2 (2017).
