Janhvi, Khushi and Boney Kapoor to hold prayer meeting for Sridevi in Chennai

The family of Sridevi is currently in Chennai, having immersed the actress's ashes in Rameswaram. Sridevi's death on 24 February shocked the Indian film industry. After her funeral on 28 February, Sridevi's ashes were carried to Rameswaram and Haridwar for immersion by husband Boney Kapoor. Now, the family is prepared to hold a prayer meeting for her in Chennai.
Sridevi, who began her career as actress at the age of 16 in Tamil cinema, rose to be one of the biggest stars in the southern film industry before she made her transition to Hindi cinema. As soon as the news of her demise broke, actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, co-stars in her first film, rushed to the family's side in Mumbai.
It is understandable that the family is holding a prayer meeting to meet family and friends in the southern industry, Boney and daughters, Jahnvi and Khushi, as well as Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, are expected to be present at the Crowne Plaza, Adyar Park on 11 March.
The family is going through a tough time coping with the loss. They also held a prayer meeting recently with actors Jaya Prada, Jagapathi Babu, P Susheela meeting the family in Hyderabad.
