It's a scramble for dates at the box office with each producer/filmmaker trying to get a suitable release. Vishwaas Paandya’s comedy Baa Baaa Black Sheep was earlier slated to be released on 9 March, but it will now hit the cinema halls on 23 March. The film has Maniesh Paul and Anupam Kher in the lead roles.
A host of films were lined up for a 9 March release, but competition has forced the makers to change the release dates. A source closely associated with Baa Baaa Black Sheep informed, “The makers wanted to shoot a promotional song for the film and so it was decided to shift the release date by a few weeks.”
Baa Baaa Black Sheep will now compete with Yash Raj Films' Hichki, starring Rani Mukerji and Sudhir Mishra’s Daas Dev, starring Richa Chadha, Rahul Bhatt and Aditi Rao Hydari.
Paul's last film was Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive (2016). The actor made a special appearance in the Marathi film, Hrudayantar (2017).
