The trend of remixes keeps on rolling with 'Mundiyan' from Baaghi 2 being added to the growing list.
The first song from the Tiger Shroff- and Disha Patani-starrer is the cult Punjabi dance number by Labh Janjua (with Panjabi MC providing the remix) from 2003.
This time, Sandeep Shirodkar takes on the composition duties while Navraj Hans and Palak Muchhal deliver the vocals.
The song is choreographed by Rahul Shetty and captures Patani and Shroff in their element. Shroff delivers some snappy moves that are lit up by the psychedelic lights for the video.
Both artistes seem to be at home grooving to some complex steps, but they are still a far cry from what Shroff is known to be capable of. Nevertheless, they bring the energy and style required for the song.
The composition itself has hardly been changed from its original style. The signature rhythm and beats remain the same. Where it changes is in the lyrics, written by Ginny Diwan. With enough style and panache, the lyrics do lend some newness to the song.
There is also the very addictive nature of the original composition which adds to the attractiveness of 'Mundiyan'.
In all, this looks to be a good start to pick up people after a very grim week.
Baaghi 2 is directed by Ahmed Khan and is set to be released on 30 March 2018.
