The veteran actor believes the film has shown how people generally talk in real life.

Director Shashanka Ghosh’s Veere Di Wedding, which was released on 1 June, is well on its way to become a hit at the box office.
But the film, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam K Ahuja, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania, is also being criticized by a section of the audience for its cuss words and bold scenes.
Now veteran actor Tiku Talsania, father of actress Shikha, has come out in support of the film.
Veere Di Wedding review: Some fun, lots of chaos
“You need guts to do a film like this and talk your mind. This is what the ladies [in the film] are doing. They are thinking aloud. I feel it’s a very bold and beautiful film. It has its own questions and problems and they have dealt with it very well,” Tiku Talsania told Cinestaan.com.
On the use of cuss words, he said, “I had a good time. I enjoyed it, including the cuss words. We keep using such words, don’t we, when someone crosses you? We keep doing it personally and these people have just shown that on screen (laughs). What is there to get affected? It is life and it is meant to be enjoyed that way. This is a story of four friends who get together and enjoy.”
Asked what he thought of Shikha’s performance, Talsania said, “I liked her acting very much. She did a tremendous job.”
Talsania, a veteran in Hindi films and on television, is known for his comic acts in a number of films like Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), Raja Hindustani (1996), Hero No. 1 (1997) and Partner (2007).
