Tovino Thomas’s Malayalam film Mayaanadhi to be remade in Hindi 

Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas’s 2017 romantic thriller Mayaanadhi’s is set to be remade in Hindi. Actor-director-producer Sachin Pilgaonkar will co-produce the film with Santosh Kuruvilla. Pilgaonkar’s publicist issued a press note, further informing that the cast is yet to be finalised.

The Hindi remake will be directed by Joe Rajan who had earlier helmed Luv U Soniyo (2012). The project is expected to go on florrs soon

The Malayalam original, starring Tovino Thomas and Aishwarya Lakshmi, narrated the unstable relationship between Mathew, a criminal and Aparna, an aspiring actress. Co-scripted by Dileesh Nair and Syam Puskaran, and directed by Aashiq Abu, Mayaanadhi was released on 22 December 2017.

Pilgaonkar had last produced and directed Ekulti Ek (2013).
