Actor-politician Kamal Haasan, who is also hosting the Tamil reality show Bigg Boss, had announced last week that he would release the first song of Vishwaroopam2, his upcoming film, on the show this weekend.
Hours before the actual video is released, the production house has released the lyric video of the single track, 'Naanagiya Nathimulamae', on YouTube. The track has got an overwhelming response with over 27 lakh people viewing the video within a day.
Music for the song has been scored by Ghibran. The number has been sung by Kamal Haasan, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Master Karthik and Suresh Iyer.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan, who is expected to release the complete song tonight on Bigg Boss, decided to chat with fans and the public through social media platform Twitter, during breaks while shooting for the reality show.
During this interaction, he has disclosed that he refused to fill in the caste and religion columns in the school admission certificates of both his daughters — actresses Shruti and Akshara.
To a question on how he would take caste and religion to the next generation and whether it will be optional for school and college admissions, Kamal said, "I refused to fill in the caste and religion columns in both my daughters’ school admission certificates. That’s the only way, it will pass on to the next generation. Every individual should start contributing for progress. Kerala started implementing the same. Those who do should be celebrated."
