Irrfan's team denies story of Shah Rukh Khan helping him out in London

Irrfan Khan's health has been of prime concern to his family, friends and fans ever since the actor was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour.

Fans were touched when a website recently reported that before leaving for treatment in London, Irrfan Khan had met good friend Shah Rukh Khan and the latter had passed on the keys to his London pad to the ailing actor.

According to the report on spotboye.com, Irrfan Khan had expressed a desire to meet his friend before leaving for the United Kingdom for treatment.

At the time Shah Rukh Khan was said to be shooting at Mumbai's Mehboob Studio and left early to host Irrfan Khan.

According to the report, the two actors spent a couple of hours together and the Zero (2018) star gave the keys to his London pad to Irrfan so he could have a comfortable stay.

But Irrfan Khan’s spokesperson has denied that he had taken any such favour from Shah Rukh. “The story floating around of Shah Rukh and Irrfan is a figment of the imagination of some individual," the spokesperson said. "It has no truth to it.”

The two Khans had worked together in Billu (2009), which was produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s company Red Chillies Entertainment.
