Pawan Kalyan, one of the Telugu film industry's top stars and a politician now, has wished his ex-wife Renu Desai, who got engaged on the weekend.
The actor took to Twitter on Tuesday to express his best wishes. "My wholehearted wishes to Ms Renu garu for entering a new phase of happiness. I wish and pray Almighty and Mother Nature to bestow upon her abundant health, peace and prosperity," he wrote.
Pawan Kalyan's tweet appeared soon after the actress announced her engagement through a post on Instagram. However, she did not disclose the identity of the person she is to wed.
In her Instagram post, Desai said, "I went looking for love in all the wrong places. I thought I will find it in poetry. Sometimes in candlelight dinners, most of the time in sugarcoated false promises of forevers. I wanted to find love in the most obvious; rains, songs and long drives. I thought I will find it hidden in a giant bouquet of hundred roses. During this search, I forgot that love is an experience. It’s an abstract noun that has to be experienced, not possessed. I found love in moments and not in forever."
Desai and Pawan Kalyan got married in 2009 but the joy was shortlived. The couple opted for divorce in just four years. They have two kids, Akira and Aadhya.
