Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas give shutterbugs the slip on arrival at Mumbai airport

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas arrived in Mumbai late on Thursday (21 June) night. The actress and the former One Direction pop star gave the assembled media the slip at the airport as they headed to Chopra's Versova bungalow. 

While there were reports of the Quantico actress returning to Mumbai, the arrival of Jonas with her came as a surprise. The two disembarked at Mumbai airport and quietly evaded the assembled photographers outside by taking another exit out. 

However, photographers spotted the two arriving in a car outside Chopra's Versova bungalow. According to reports, the actress is planning to throw a housewarming party before she begins shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat alongside Salman Khan. Jonas is likely to attend the party, and meet her mother, Madhu Chopra. 

The actress and the pop-star did make efforts to avoid detection. The car they were travelling in was covered in black cloth, removing any chances of the two being photographed together. 

This is the latest development in their relationship. The actress, 35, and the pop-star, 25, have been dating since they last met at the MET Gala in 2017. A couple of weeks ago, Chopra had accompanied Jonas to the wedding of his cousin,  and even spent some time with his family. 

Back in December, Jonas had expressed a wish to visit India. In a quote to IANS, a news agency, he had said, "I’ve never been (to India). But I’m dying to go and I have now heard from Priyanka, my new friend a lot about it. Just given me a lot of names of place to go if I go there." 

With the two now in India, and officially dating, Jonas might have a chance to visit the places with Chopra for company.
