Satyamev Jayate poster: Ashoka Chakra on fire an intriguing visual for anti-corruption theme

This Independence Day, audiences will see Akshay Kumar in the period sports film Gold. There were rumours that fearing competition, Emmay Entertainment and T-Series might delay the release of their film, Satyamev Jayate. However, Satyamev Jayate will be released as scheduled. The makers declared their intentions by releasing the poster of the film, which features John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee.

John is seen flashing his big biceps. What is more interesting is the graphics used to create the national emblem, Ashoka Chakra, out of fire.

The tagline 'beimaan pitega corruption mitega' suggests clearly the theme is anti-corruption. John had also tweeted saying 'justice will roar'. The title is imprinted on a bravery medallion. Newspaper clippings relating to corruption are seen in the background.
 
With a fairly creative poster, Satyamev Jayate comes across as an apt film for the current times.
