The trailers of director Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju are getting rave reviews. A biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt, the film has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, supported by Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, and Manish Koirala.
Apart from the film’s release, Dutt’s reaction to the film is also keenly awaited. However, according to Ranbir, Sanjay has not watched the film yet. Ranbir interacted with fans on Twitter yesterday (17 June) on the occasion of Father’s Day.
A twitter user asked him about the challenge in playing Sanjay Dutt and also whether the real Munnabhai had seen the film. “The biggest challenge of playing @duttsanjay was to believe that I could do it. He hasn't seen it yet, but I am looking forward to his reaction #JaaduKiJhappi,” the actor replied.

Sanju focuses a lot on the father-son relationship between Sanjay and Sunil Dutt (played Paresh Rawal). The teaser, released on Father’s Day, revealed that Sanjay didn’t share an easy relation with his father.
Kapoor also revealed that his relation with his father, actor Rishi Kapoor, is pretty much the same. While answering a question, he wrote, “Hey Soumi. Meri dad se bahut phat-ti hai. I don't even know what his eye color is because I've never looked into his eye. However, Happy Father's Day papa. I love you! #JaaduKiJhappi.”
