Kriti Sanon begins rehearsals for special song in Kalank

Actress Kriti Sanon has started rehearsing for her special dance appearance in producer Karan Johar's period film, Kalank. The song will be choreographed by Remo D’Souza and Sanon will match steps with Kalank actors Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur.

"It is a very special song and an amazing track that makes you groove instantly.  Plus, it is my first work in association with Karan [Johar] and Dharma [Productions] movies and I am thrilled about it. I haven’t done a song like this before so I’m very excited," Sanon told Cinestaan.com.

The Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) actress posted a video of the rehearsals on her Instagram account.

Kalank is a period film directed by Abhishek Varman. Apart from Dhawan, it also stars Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit Nene. The film is slated to be released in 2019.

Sanon has also signed up for Housefull 4 and Panipat. She will begin shooting in July as Housefull 4  goes on the floors first. Apart from promoting new brands, Sanon also recently performed at the closing ceremony of the Indian Premier League.
