Producer Remo D’Souza's supernatural thriller with mostly unheralded names has intrigue written all over it.

Who doesn’t love a good horror flick. After Race 3, director and choreographer Remo D'Souza is now 'presenting' a supernatural thriller.

Titled Lupt, the film is directed by first-timer Prabhuraj and has mostly unheralded names in the cast. The makers released the first poster today.

What we see is a demonic face hovering over a house with a pram parked a few yards in front of the house. The woman in the picture is actress Meenakshi Dixit, who certainly looks terrifying here. Her character looks possessed. The gash on her forehead, the eyes without pupils, and the rough hair can send shivers down most spines.

The cast has not been revealed in the poster, but Jaaved Jaaferi, Vijay Raaz and Dixit are joined by unheralded names Karan Aanand and Rishab Chadha in the film.

Lupt means vanishing and is thus an appropriate title for a horror flick. The tagline, ‘every family has a story’, is not too creative, however. After all, in most horror flicks, the haunting happens in one house. The film is set to be released in September.
