Manoj, who has acted in a number of Tamil films including Taj Mahal (1999), Annakodi (2013) and Baby (2015), was driving a BMW car on Sterling Road, in Chennai, in an inebriated state when the cops stopped him for a routine check up.

Manoj is not the only actor to have been booked for drunk driving in recent times. Recently, actor Jai was caught after the actor rammed his car into the sidewall of the Adayar flyover on Lattice Bridge Road in Chennai.
