Arjun Reddy Hindi remake with Shahid Kapoor to be released on 21 June 2019

The delay in completion of Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018) invariably led to a delay in the shoot of Shahid Kapoor's next, Arjun Reddy. The film will go on the floors from August this year and will be released on 21 June 2019.

"Shahid kapoor starrer #ArjunReddy directed by @imvangasandeep produced by #BhushanKumar, @muradkhetani, Krishan Kumar & @ashwinvarde will hit theatres on 21st June 2019. This @TSeries & @Cine1Studios film goes on floors in August," T-Series announced on Twitter.

Arjun Reddy is the remake of Telugu film of the same name. Sandeep Vanga, who directed the Telugu film, is also directing the Hindi remake. Vanga will make his Hindi directorial debut with the remake. The female lead for the remake is not yet announced.

The original film starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. Despite being a brilliant student, Reddy faces anger management issues. The man's life changes when he meets fellow student Preethi Shetty.
