The long-delayed Brij Mohan Amar Rahe! is finally being released on Friday (3 August) on Netflix.
The film, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, was supposed to be the first from Yoodlee Films, the film production unit of music label Saregama.
It was earlier scheduled to hit the big screens on 1 December 2017.
However, other Yoodlee Films productions like Ajji (2017), Abhiyum Anuvum (Abhi & Anu, 2018) and Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz (2018) have been released before it.

The dark comedy features Arjun Mathur as Delhi shopowner Brijmohan who fakes his own death, wanting to escape his debt-ridden life and his suspicious wife. Amassing a bit of cash, Brij Mohan tries to change his identity and run away from his debtors, with his girlfriend, to a new life.
But all the planning in the world can't help him escape the inevitable and he is caught and charged with his own murder.
Nidhi Singh, Sheetal Thakur and Manav Vij are also part of the cast. The film had its world premiere at the South Asian International Film Festival, New York, in 2017.
According to international trade magazine Variety, Brij Mohan Amar Rahe! "is part of Yoodlee’s ambitious Project 100, a plan to make 100 independent films in several Indian languages over the next five years".
