Dhadak, starring newcomers Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, added Rs11.50 crore to its collections in the second weekend at the box office. The film, directed by Shashank Khaitan, has now made Rs62 crore in its 10-day run at the box office, since it released on 20 July.

According to Boxofficeindia.com, the Dharma Productions' film earned Rs2.35 crore on Friday (27 July), Rs4 crore on Saturday (28 July) and Rs5.25 crore on Sunday (29 July).
The film is unlikely to cross the lifetime collections of Khaitan's last film, Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017) which made Rs114.11 crore in India, and could just about pass the earnings of his Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), which made Rs72.80 crore.
But Dhadak is expected to definitely go past the other high grossing Dharma Productions' film starring newcomers, Student Of The Year (2012), which collected Rs62.94 crore nett (approximately) at the box office.
The film will definitely not come anywhere close to the collections of its original, Sairat (2016). The Marathi film directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule has lifetime collections of Rs110 crore, approximately.
