Rajkummar Rao, Kangana Ranaut's Mental Hai Kya to be out on 22 February 2019

Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao's Mental Hai Kya will be released on 22 February, 2019. The two will reunite on the big screen after Queen (2014). 

Mental Hai Kya has generated some curiosity for the unusual poses the leads have given in the posters.

The makers posted a quirky video to announce the film's release date. The video has the protagonists teasing each other like children. "Mental hai kya [Are you mental?]", they ask. 

The film will be released eight days after Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy hits the screens. 

Directed by Prakash Kovelafmudi, Mental Hai Kya has so far come across as a mystery drama. Earlier, it was speculated that the film will be a thriller, but producer Ekta Kapoor recently stated that the film is neither a comedy nor a psycholgocial thriller. 

More details on the film are expected to be revealed in the coming months. The Mental Hai Kya team is currently in London shooting for the film.
