Assam traffic police use Shah Rukh Khan's iconic pose for traffic awareness

The actor thanked to the Assam police saying that the pose couldn’t have been used for a 'better purpose'.

if there is one thing that defines Shah Rukh Khan, it is his classic arms-stretched-wide pose from Dilwale Duhania Le Jayenge (1995). The pose, which has been used in several films since, is usually associated with romance. But even Shah Rukh Khan would never have imagined that the iconic pose could also be used to promote awareness about traffic rules.

Ponjit Dowarah, Assistant Commissioner of police, Jalukbari, Assam posted a tweet using Khan's iconic gesture, but more importantly, urged citizens to follow traffic rules.

“The universal pose of @iamsrk has touched all down the ages, but please read the message also #FollowTrafficRules,” Dowrah tweeted.

The actor is currently awaiting the release of his next film, Aanand L Rai's Zero (2018), on 21 December 2018.
