if there is one thing that defines Shah Rukh Khan, it is his classic arms-stretched-wide pose from Dilwale Duhania Le Jayenge (1995). The pose, which has been used in several films since, is usually associated with romance. But even Shah Rukh Khan would never have imagined that the iconic pose could also be used to promote awareness about traffic rules.
Ponjit Dowarah, Assistant Commissioner of police, Jalukbari, Assam posted a tweet using Khan's iconic gesture, but more importantly, urged citizens to follow traffic rules.
“The universal pose of @iamsrk has touched all down the ages, but please read the message also #FollowTrafficRules,” Dowrah tweeted.

Below the silhouette of Khan in his famous posture, the image carried the message of ‘Please obey the traffic rules’.
Surprisingly, the move even had the full backing of Shah Rukh Khan who felt it couldn’t have been put for a better use.
“The best message I think this pose has conveyed. Please please follow traffic rules,” Khan tweeted.
