Sanjay Leela Bhansali has launched Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor with Saawariya in 2007. The Padmaavat (2018) director is now set to launch Anmol Thakeria, son of actress Poonam Dhillon and producer Ashok Thakeria.
While it is not clear if Bhansali will direct the film himself or will only produce it, Dhillon confirmed, via a text message, that her son is set to make his debut with Bhansali. "Yes, he is doing it. I guess, Bhansali is producing it. You'll to have check with Bhansali office as I'm not at liberty to talk," the actress said.
As per a report in Pinkvilla.com, the film has already gone on floors in London and is tentatively titled Tuesdays And Fridays. The leading lady has not been finalised yet.
Reportedly, Bhansali is collaborating with T-Series for this project. While Bhansali is known to keep things under wrap, he is expected to make an announcement soon.
A couple of days back, actor Tiger Shroff was spotted visiting Bhansali's office in Juhu, Mumbai. This has led to speculation whether the director has offered a script to the Baaghi 2 actor too.
Dhillon has two children, daughter Paloma and son Anmol. The actress had married Ashok Thakeria in 1988 and the couple separated in 1997.
