Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga to be released on 1 February 2019

A month ago, the makers of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga had the released the teaser of the romantic family drama. Now, the film finally has a release date - 1 February 2019. 

Actor Anil Kapoor made the announcement on Twitter.

"Lots of drama, syaapa & pyaar coming your way on 1st February 2019!," Kapoor wrote.

As of now the film will enjoy a solo release. 

Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s sister Shelly Chopra Dhar, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga features Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla in lead roles.

The films centres around the marriage of Rao and Sonam's characters, with Anil and Chawla playing Sonam’s parents. This is the first time that Anil will share the big screen with his daughter Sonam. He was last paired with Chawla in Nikkhil Advani’s Salaam-E-Ishq (2007).  Meanwhile, Rao and Sonam reunite after Dolly Ki Doli (2015). 

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga derives its titles from the popular song from Chopra's 1942: A Love Story (1994). The film is co-produced by Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani.
