The director wittingly used the word 'Nick' in his post, giving rise to speculations of Priyanka's marriage with the American pop-star Nick Jonas. Priyanka and Jonas are rumoured to be in a relationship and the couple had recently visited Mumbai together to meet Priyanka's family and friends.
Accordng to the People magazine, the two got engaged on Priyanka's 36th birthday on 18 July. As per their source, Jonas is "very, very happy" with the development.
Earlier this month, when Priyanka’s mother, producer Dr Madhu Chopra, was asked if the family is serious about Jonas, she was quick with a reply, “Are you serious? If you are, then we’ll also get serious about it.”
In an interview with DNA, a daily, she was asked how she finds Jonas. “We just went out for dinner where Nick was present. But it was a large group. There were 10-odd people, so I didn’t get the time to know him that well. I’ve met him for the first time, so it’s too early to form an opinion,” she replied.
Priyanka had joined the cast of Bharat last month. She last worked with Salman Khan on Nikkhil Advani’s Salaam-E-Ishq (2007).
