Vikrant Massey and Sunny Singh Nijjar's Yaar Jigri to go on the floors from 14 August

The film will be directed by Amit Joshi, who co-wrote Trapped (2017) directed by Vikramaditya Motwane.

Actor Vikrant Massey said it will be great to work with actor Sunny Singh Nijjar, who received rave reviews in the surprise hit, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). The actors will be seen in Yaar Jigri, to be produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP.

The film will be directed by Amit Joshi, who co-wrote Trapped (2017) directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. Yaar Jigri is Joshi’s directorial debut. Massey and Singh will share screen space for the first time.

“It is an exciting prospect to be collaborating with Mr Ronnie Screwvala, Amit Joshi and Sunny Singh [Nijjar]. I did see Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) and I think Sunny did a great job. So, it’s going to be great to collaborate with him,” Massey told Cinestaan.com.

As the title suggests, Yaar Jigri is a bromance story. "The title suggest enough. It speaks of friendship. This is a story of two friends who are different personalities, and how two different personalities overcome their inhibitions and problems. That is what the film is about," added Massey.

Massey further informed that the film is going on the floors from 14 August and it will be shot across four different locations, including Delhi and Nainital.
