Atul Manjrekar's Fanney Khan stars big names like Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. After releasing the film's trailer and songs, the maker of Fanney Khan have now taken the viewers behind the camera with a making video.
The smartly cut video only features the making of scenes that were a part of the trailer and thus avoids revealing any new information about the film.
Its seems quite a few portions of the film have been shot at real locations, especially the scenes of Fanney Khan's house and the chawl he lives in. In fact, it looks like actress Rai Bachchan too has shot a few scenes on the streets in real locations.
While stars avoid shooting in real locations due to the crowds it gathers, it seems the Fanney Khan team managed the task seamlessly. The video also captures the joy of the bystanders as they see their stars at work.
The making video introduces all of the main artistes and their respective characters and finally brings the director into focus.
The trailer of the film has been widely appreciated. One of the funniest moments in the trailer was when Rajkummar Rao, who has kidnapped Baby Singh (Rai Bachchan) with Fanney Khan (Anil Kapoor), innocently asks her to decide the ransom amount for her freedom. The naivity of Rao’s character in Fanney Khan brings back memories of his character of Pritam Vidrohi from Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017).
Fanney Khan is the remake of Dutch film Everybody’s Famous! (2000). It’s the story of a father who desperately wants his daughter to become a famous singer.
Produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the film is all set to be released on 3 August.
