Mudassar Aziz's Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016) proved to be quite the comic caper with actress Diana Penty playing the runaway Pakistani bride. The film is now ready to have its sequel, titled Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, and will see Penty shift gears as the loudmouthed girl from Pakistan.
Main toh yahi hoon, phirr kaun si Happy bhagi? Let's find out on 25th July... #KaunsiHappyBhagi #HappyPhirrBhagJayegi @sonakshisinha @mudassar_as_is @aanandlrai @alifazal9 @jimmysheirgill #PiyushMishra @jassi1gill @cypplofficial @ErosNow @krishikalulla pic.twitter.com/CLFpOChaeV

The introductory video shows a glimpse of the fiery nature of her character as she argues with her milkman. With punchlines galore, the actress seems to have eased into her character which feels like a diametric opposite to her nature. The actress is a riot as she takes the poor milkman to the cleaners with snarky lines like 'Kabhi galti se paani me doodh bhi mila liya kar' [Sometimes do add some milk to the water you sell] and 'Teri bhains ne dekh liya ke tu doodh ke naam pe kya bechta hai, toh atmahatya kar legi' [If your buffalo comes to know what you sell in the name of milk, she will commit suicide].
But the video also offers a surprise twist to the tale. When asked why he is early for payment, the milkman replies there is a rumour that you ran away. That is when Penty's character, Happy, starts to wonder who exactly ran away. Perhaps that is the key to Aziz's sequel.
The actual running perhaps will be done by Sonakshi Sinha, who plays the namesake to Penty's character. The film will be out on 24 August, and the trailer will be launched on 25 July.
