Shukla made his film debut with Dharma Productions’ Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and has also acted in a few television serials including Balika Vadhu.

He had to pay a penalty of Rs5000. Shukla had reportedly lost control of his BMW and rammed it into three cars in Oshiwara, Mumbai.

The police arrested him under sections 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way), 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees) of the Indian penal code.

This is not the first time that the actor has been involved in a road accident. In 2014, Shukla rammed his Mercedes Benz into an Indica, in which a family was travelling.
