In light of rumours that her full remuneration for Bharath Ane Nenu (2018) was not paid, actress Kiara Advani has stepped up to rubbish the reports.
Advani recently made her Telugu film debut in director Koratala Siva’s Bharath Ane Nenu, which also featured Mahesh Babu in the lead. Recently, there had been reports about Advani's full remuneration for the film not being cleared by the film’s producer DVV Danayya.
The producer had also denied such reports. While talking to Telugucinema.com, he had said, “Not a single technician or artiste was unpaid. We practice great values and all amounts are cleared before the release for any our production.”
In an official statement, Advani said, “Shocked to see baseless allegations being levelled against DVV Entertainment and Danayya garu. I have had the pleasure of working in back to back films with such a professional production house.”
She also pointed out that she wouldn’t be doing the next film with the same producer if she wasn’t paid fully for the previous one. “Why would anybody take up their immediate next project with the same production house if there really is an issue? I look forward to work with Danayya garu in their next venture too,” added Advani.
She played the character of Vasumathi, who helps Mahesh Babu’s character in his mission.
