Popular Marathi television actor Suvrat Joshi made his appeared as a lead earlier this year in director Viju Mane’s Marathi movie Shikari, where he was cast alongside Neha Khan. He will be next seen in Party, helmed by Sachin Dharekar.
Joshi’s look and characterization is vastly different in this film. Going by the recently released trailer, he plays a college-going youngster, which is close to what he played in his popular TV serial Dil Dosti Duniyadari.
The film revolves around four college students (played by Joshi, Akshay Tanksale and others). Their life has only one motto – to party. They are always on the lookout of an opportunity to party and celebrate. Impressing girls is also their focus in life. The film stars Prajakta Mali as the female lead.
Party appears like a college campus comedy and the humour appears decent, just not enough to get you in splits.
The teaser doesn't give any idea on the main story of the film. Perhaps, the trailer will be more helpful here.
Produced by Dark Horse Cinemas and Navavidha Productions, Party is will be released on 24 August.
