Singer Monali Thakur will be the latest to feature on India's first ever live radio concert.
The 'Moh Moh Ke Dhaage' singer will perform on Radio City's GIGCity Season 3 tomorrow (13 July) from 7pm to 9pm. A repeat broadcast will be aired on 14 July from 9pm to 11pm across Radio City’s 25 Hindi speaking markets.
The idea of a live radio concert might be new to India, but it is picking up speed. Radio City’s flagship property and India’s first ever Live Radio Concert GIGCity is currently in its third season, and has already created a stir amongst listeners by bringing live performances from India’s biggest singers.
The event features singers joining Radio City host RJ Salil, as they perform live to an audience in over 25 metros. The concert is in line with its tag 'Aap jahan, concert wahan'.
Among the list of performers at the live concert so far are Sachin-Jigar, Sukhwinder Singh, Neeti Mohan, Armaan Malik and Monali Thakur. The entire season of Radio City’s Gig City will go on till 21 July.
