The actor will play a barber from London and will sport a salt-and-pepper look for Housefull 4.

Actor Akshay Kumar has been gearing up for Housefull 4 (2019). The actor will begin filming for the fourth instalment of the comedy franchise this week and he revealed to the newspaper Hindustan Times that he will be playing a barber from London.
Akshay has also experimented with his look in Housefull 4. He now sports a mostly white beard and his hair is a stylish mixture of white and black. According to the actor, this look was planned for a while.
“My stylist and I have been planning this avatar for about a month now and were trying to see how imaginative we could be. We ordered silver hair wax from China — which is made of natural ingredients — and experimented with different tones, but I was most excited about being a Silver Fox, so we cut [my hair], styled it and played around until we got the look that made us go, ‘Hell, yeah!’” he is quoted in the report.
For the fourth Housefull film, Akshay is changing up his profession along with his look. In Housefull (2010), the actor played an unlucky man who begins the film as a bartender and graduates to masquerading as a rich man. In Housefull 2 (2012), he has no real work as he plays the college friend of Riteish Deshmukh’s character who helps him in a crazy scheme to get revenge and ends up posing as his bodyguard.
Thankfully, in Housefull 3 (2016), Akshay’s character had some aim in life as he wants to play professional football. Now for Housefull 4, he will essay the role of a London-based barber, hence the trendy look, similar to Hollywood actor George Clooney.
The four films, then, show the actor ageing gracefully in the franchise. The health-conscious actor is still fit as ever, however, a few wrinkles can now be seen in the eight years that have passed since the first film.
The only thing that will remain a constant across all four films in the craziness of the comedy franchise. That simply won’t change.
The Diwali release Housefull 4 (2019), directed by Sajid Khan, also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, and Pooja Hegde, among others.
