Karan Johar, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonakshi Sinha to be seen in Boom Boom In New York

Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet (2014) neither pleased the critics nor was it appreciated by the audiences. However, the film will be remembered for filmmaker Karan Johar’s stint at acting.

Johar is all set to make another appearance on the big screen with a comedy, Boom Boom In New York, according to trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh. 

The film also has an unusual cast of Lara Dutta, Diljit Dosanjh, Riteish Deshmukh and Sonakshi Sinha. Actor-director Chakri Toleti, who has made a few films in South Indian languages, will helm the film.

Produced by Vashu Bhagnani and WIZ Films, Boom Boom In New York is all set to be released on 23 February.
