Saif Ali Khan's Baazaar to clash with 2.0 and Manikarnika on 27 April

Saif Ali Khan is gearing up for a big 2018. While the Chef actor awaits Kaalakaandi to hit the screens on Friday, the week brought another big announcement for him. His next film, Baazaar, will be released on 27 April.

Directed by Gauravv Chawla, the film will clash with biggies like S Shankar's 2.0, starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, and Kangana Ranaut's biopic on the queen of Jhansi, Manikarnika.

Baazaar is being produced by Emmay Entertainment and Kyta Productions and revolves around the harsh world of share-trading in Mumbai. The film will also mark the debut of Rohan Mehra, son of the late actor, Vinod Mehra. 

A statement from the production house said that "the film has completed principal photography and is now in post-production."

While all three films belong to different genres, it remains to be seen if the clash would have an adverse effect on their returns at the box office.
