Every script goes through changes, and sometimes, it can change entirely from the way it was first conceived. In November 2017, Kaif had told DNA newspaper that the Aanand L Rai film, now titled Zero, was earlier titled Katrina Meri Jaan, but the story changed after Shah Rukh Khan came on board.

“That time it was a different film, every film has sometimes has an interesting journey. And it goes from one point to the other, and has a long process. That time it was different film which is being made now called Zero. The character I say, is is kind of a satirical take on an actress. It is a very interesting and dramatic character,” Kaif told BollywoodHungama.com in a telephonic conversation.

Kaif also praised director Rai, with whom she is collaborating for the first time. “Aanand Rai is an amazing director to work with. Just amazing to add to your performances, to break it down. I’m having a great time shooting with him,” added Kaif.

Zero will be released on 21 December this year.
