Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt says in a world where money is made out of "selling love and friendship", he is a "B-grade fear seller".

"I am a fear seller. In a world where money is made out of selling love, friendship, laughter, hope and even tears, I sell fear. I do this unapologetically and at the cost of being called not aesthetic, crass and B-grade. Hang on, correction; I am a B-grade fear seller," Bhatt wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday, 6 January.

Explaining his stance on the ideas of good and evil, the filmmaker wrote, "I believe there is the Devil and I believe there are souls that are evil and I believe that the Demon will try to seduce you. I believe in all this because I believe in God and if there is God then there has to be the anti-God." He added that it's relieving not to be great or even attempt to be one.

Bhatt is gearing up for the release of his next horror film 1921. Shot in London, the film revolves around a couple, played by Zareen Khan and Karan Kundra as they deal with their dark pasts and secrets to secure their present and future.
