However, according to a few reports, the film could be released on 26 January.

Speculations about the new release date of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati are currently doing the rounds, further making the situation tense for films that have already booked the dates.
A few reports suggest that Padmavati might be released on 9 February. This conjecture was given more fuel today by trade analyst Ramesh Bala on Twitter, “Good news for @deepikapadukone fans on #HappyBirthdayDeepikaPadukone - #Padmavat most likely to release on Feb 9th!”

According to an industry source, the film will most likely see the light of day on 9 February. "The film is 99% scheduled to be released on 9 February. It also depends on when do they (producers of Padmavati) get certification from the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification). Akshay has booked Republic Day long back. So, Padmavati makers won't spoil their good relations with him by suddenly releasing their film on Republic Day," he said.
Other reports suggest that the film, starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor will be released on Republic Day, 26 January.
Pad Man, starring Akshay Kumar, and Neeraj Pandey’s directorial Aiyaary are slated to clash at the box office on Republic Day. Therefore, if the makers of Padmavati decide to release their film on 26 January, the plans for Pad Man and Aiyaary might go awry and the respective makers might be forced to shift their films to another date.
Amidst all this confusion, Akshay Kumar, on Twitter, announced that Pad Man will hit the screens a day before (25 January) its scheduled release date. “Superhero ke saath Super Republic week. #PadMan releasing on 25th January, 2018! @PadManTheFilm @sonamakapoor @radhika_apte @mrsfunnybones @SonyPicsIndia @kriarj #Rbalki,” he wrote last night.

This advancement is similar to what happened last year before the Republic Day holiday period with Shah Rukh Khan's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil. While the former hit the screens in the morning, the latter was released in the evening on 25 January 2017.
The producers of Aiyaary so far haven’t made any announcements on any change in their plans.
