Director Suseenthiran to turn actor with Suttu Pidika Utharavu

Director Suseenthiran, who has helmed several hits such as Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu (2009), Naan Mahaan Alla (2010), Pandiyanaadu (2013) and Nenjil Thunivirunthal (2017), will begin shooting for his first film as an actor, Suttu Pidika Utharavu, today (29 January).
Interestingly, Suseenthiran's directorial debut, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, was also released on 29 January.
He took to Twitter to make the announcement.
"January 29 - one memorable day in my life time! My first film('s) release date. Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, my debut film released on 29th Jan, 2009. (I will be) completing nine years today. Another new journey...On the very same January 29 - today, my first day as an actor(.) Suttupidika Utharavu movie shoot begins... Truly nostalgic... Thanks to director Ramprakash and Mohan sir," Suseenthiran wrote.

The film will be directed by Ramprakash Rayappa, known for films like Thamizhukku Enn Ondrai Azhuthavum (2015) and Pokkiri Raja (2016).
Interestingly, Suttupidika Utharavu, along with Suseenthiran, also feature Mysskin, another immensely popular director-turned-actor and actor Vikranth in the lead.
