Shah Rukh's Red Chillies to co-produce Shahid Kapoor's Batti Gul Meter Chalu

KriArj Entertainment is gradually growing as a production house, having worked with stars like Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma.

Founded by young entrepreneurs Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor, KriArj Entertainment has received a shot in the arm with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment coming on board as co-producer for Batti Gul Meter Chalu.

The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Shraddha Kapoor. An official announcement is likely to made soon but a source close to development said, “Yes, Red Chillies has tied up with KriArj to co-produce Batti Gul Meter Chalu. Talks are also going on with Eros International for a three-film deal.”

Directed by Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017) filmmaker Shree Narayan Singh, Batti Gul Meter Chalu is slated to be released on 30 August. This is a maiden collaboration between Red Chillies and KriArj.
