Aiyaary song 'Shuru Kar': Sidharth Malhotra enjoys his rockstar moment

Aiyaary's release date may have been pushed forward, but the makers have released a new number to keep fans interested and hooked. 'Shuru Kar' is a soft rock number that sees Sidharth Malhotra channel the rockstar in him.

Penned by Manoj Muntashir, the lyrics urge you to begin a story. The inspirational lyrics are a wake up call for those who don’t realise their own worth nor muster the courage to express themselves. What seems impossible could be an opportunity, it says.

Muntashir’s neat lyrics are backed by a rollicking score by Rochak Kohli. Amit Mishra is a little unconvincing in parts, but it’s Neha Bhasin who really lifts the tempo of the track. The Delhi girl has powerful voice and she outshines Mishra.

The song, however, belongs to Malhotra. Rakul Preet Singh, too, enjoys her moment in the sun.

'Shuru Kar' is an inspirational and entertaining track. Aiyaary is set to be released on 9 February.
