Super 30 is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar. The man from Patna, Bihar is famous for teaching aspiring Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) students hailing from poor backgrounds.
The postponement also means that Super 30 will now clash with the Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer Thackeray, the biopic on the late Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray. Directed by Rahul Panse and produced by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, the bilingual will be released on Thackeray’s birthday on 23 January 2019.
