Dulquer Salmaan's Hindi cinema debut will be in the month of June. The actor will be making his first foray into the world of Hindi cinema, alongwith Mithila Palkar and Irrfan Khan in Akarsh Khurana's film, Karwaan. The makers of the film announced the release date — Wednesday, as 1 June.
The production house released a new still from the film featuring the three leads standing by the side of a road. While Khan looks his usual mysterious self, Dulquer looks to be playing the urban yuppie tagging along on the journey. Palkar brings home the rebellious girl spirit to the entire picture.
The film revolves around three different people who come together for an interesting journey. It also marks the directorial debut of playwright and theatre director, Akarsh Khurana.
Karwaan will also see actress Amala Akkineni making a rare appearance in Hindi cinema.
Mithila Palkar will also be making her debut with the film. The actress is known for her popular web series, Girl in the City and Little Things. Tracking the final days of the shoot on her Instagram, Palkar put up a series of posts on her social media account.
"Cannot believe the most fun month and a half just zoomed past and we already celebrated the film wrap! Official film wrap celebration tha, how could I not have dragged these two into a selfie? Thank you for being awesome, you two! #Karwaan #HumansofKarwaan," she wrote under the hash tag 'HumansOfKarwaan'.
