Fresh off his Best Actor in the Leading Role (Male) Filmfare trophy for Hindi Medium, Irrfan Khan is now attending the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah to promote his upcoming Hollywood film, The Puzzle.

The actor posed with The Puzzle’s director, Marc Turtletaub and co-stars, Kelly Macdonald and David Denman.

The Puzzle will have its world premiere on Tuesday (23 January). Macdonald stars as Agnes, a housewife who finds she can solve large jigsaw puzzles. Khan co-stars in the film as Robert, “a fellow maverick who introduces her to an unexpected world of puzzle competitions”.

Khan and co-star Macdonald had their faces painted in a coffee mug while at the festival.

The actor had recently shared his thoughts on Hindi Medium, that also won the Best Film trophy at the 63rd Filmfare Awards. In a statement, he said, “Hindi Medium is very close to my heart and I wish to keep telling stories like these for the audience. When you believe in your work, the world also believes with you. It is good to know that the stories you believe in is what the audiences is also looking for. It’s time for change and I am glad there is acceptance to this change.”

With films like The Puzzle, Blackmail, and Karwaan, all waiting in the wings to be released in 2018, it looks like Khan knows what his audience prefers.
