After her appearance at the Sundance Film Festival for A Kid Like Jake, Priyanka Chopra is set to kick off the Academy Awards 2018 season with her part in the nomination video. The actress will be announcing the nominations for the 2018 Academy Awards to be held on 4 March 2018.

The offiical account of the Academy of Motion Pictures tweeted out an image of their announcers, which includes comedian Rebel Wilson, actress Rosario Dawson, Michelle Yeoh, Michelle Rodriguez and Chopra.

Chopra made an appearance alongside actor Liev Schreiber to present the award for Best Film Editing in 2016. The actress has since been a prominent presence at award functions, with her latest appearance being at the Sundance Film Festival.
The 90th Academy Awards will be held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, and will be hosted by talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel was also the host at the event last year, making it a rare double.
Chopra, meanwhile, is also shooting for the third season of her hit television show, Quantico.
