Here's Ram Gopal Varma punching imaginary protestors to beat your Monday blues

The infamous director's latest update on Instagram features him venting his ire on a few of his imaginary protestors.

You can keep him out of the spotlight, but like the cactus in the wild, he finds his way back. Ram Gopal Varma's recent video upload on his Instagram page just feels right on a Monday morning.

The director waltzed back into controversies with his latest venture with adult film star, Mia Malkova, in a film titled God Sex and Truth. Considering Varma's record, and the controversial subject matter, the film ran into several protests. Women's associations led by All India Democratic Women Association (AIDWA) took to the streets of Vishakhapatnam to protest against the film. They also burnt an effigy of the director.

Having started his directorial career with Shiva (1990), that was known for its realistic, hard-hitting action, Varma certainly puts enough energy and intensity in it. Where he is let down is in the bad acting. The director's expressions, as well as his actor's, are quite obviously fake.

This does not mean the video is not entertaining at all. A majority of office goers waking up to the dread of Monday might find the director's trippy take understandable.

The director has been running through a very rough patch with his Twitter battle with Tiger Shroff and Vidyut Jamvwal, and later Mahesh Babu. It looks like Varma has found a way to vent his anger.
