Starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, the film's 3D version will be released at select locations to offer audiences a chance to catch the film before the 2D version hits the screens.
The release of Pad Man, which was to clash with Padmaavat at the box office in the Republic Day weekend, has been postponed to 9 February.
This has not stopped the continuing protests of the Rajput Karni Sena against Bhansali's film, claiming Padmaavat 'distorts' Rani Padmavati's legend. The fringe outfit indulged in violent protest across some regions of Gujarat and Noida on Sunday, 21 January.
