Zero first look: A pint-sized Shah Rukh casts a long shadow

2018 began with a bang for Shah Rukh Khan who saw the teaser for his appearance as a dwarf on Aanand L Rai's film finally hit the internet. The film, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, is titiled Zero. Continuing with the teaser, the makers of the film sent out a second surprise for fans of the actor on the second day of the year. 

The first look of Zero features a pint-sized Khan standing with the release date of the film written above him. While he plays a diminutive dwarf in the film, he does cast a long shadow. Not to put it lightly, the makers have transformed the metaphor onto the poster. 

While it offers audiences a bird's eye view of Khan's tiny form, the tagline above the poster reads '21st December 2018 se aapke peeche (After you, from 21st December)'. 

Not to be left out, Khan even tweeted out warm wishes for the New Year in Hindi, a novelty for the actor who usually sticks to English in his tweets. He admitted as much saying 'feel like a poet after writing in Hindi'. 

The film is set to be released on 21 December 2018.
