Singer Sunidhi Chauhan gave birth to her first child — a boy — in a hospital in Mumbai on Monday, 1 January, evening.
"The baby and mother are doing well. Sunidhi and husband Hitesh are proud with their little bundle of joy who arrived at 5.20pm on 1 January 2018," Ranjana Dhanu, Chauhan's obstetrician-gynaecologist, said in a statement
Bhupendra Avasthi, director, Paediatrics of Surya Hospitals said, "The delivery was uneventful and the baby boy is healthy and doing well."
Chauhan, married to music composer Hitesh Sonik, is known for some of the chartbusters like 'Ruki Ruki' (Mast, 1999), 'Dance Pe Chance' (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, 2008), 'Kamli' (Dhoom, 2013), 'Darkhaast' (Shivaay, 2016), 'Main Baani Teri Radha' (Jab Harry Met Sejal, 2017), 'Bloody Hell' (Rangoon, 2017), among many others.
