A couple, Sumit and Koroli, with an eventful past, reunite years later when they’re already with other partners. Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem play the lead characters in Aleya Sen’s first film, Dil Juunglee.
The convoluted trailer shows Saleem as Sumit Uppal a head coach at a gym, who actually wants to be an actor.
Pannu is Koroli Nair, an English language counsellor, who has just been dumped. She decides her student, Sumit, would be perfect rebound material. The two elope and go on a few wild adventures with their friends.
Years later, they meet up in London when they’re in relationships with other people. Is their original spark still alive? We'll have to catch the film to find out.
Santosh Barmola, Nidhi Singh, Srishti Shrivastava, Abhilash Thapliyal, Ayesha Kaduskar are also part of the cast.
Dil Juunglee, co-produced by Pooja Entertainment and Dinesh Jain, is due to be released after Valentine’s Day on 16 February.
